Richard Rainey is an Irish producer/mixer. Based in London, he has recently finished producing a new album with Demark’s Grand Avenue. He also recorded U2’s new album ‘No Line on the Horizon’ with producers Daniel Lanois, Brian Eno and Steve Lillywhite
Prior to this Richard has produced or mixed records with a range of artists from Mansun, Mando Diao and The Aliens to The Beautiful South. He has also produced soundtracks for TV and mixed 5.1 concerts for DVD.
Richard also won 3 Grammys for his work on the 11 million selling U2 album 'All That You Can’t Leave Behind'. In addition, he produced dance remixes of both 'Beautiful Day' (as one half of remix duo Quincey & Sonance) and ‘Elevation’ for U2 single releases.
